International Students were not paying Tuition fees, however, since autumn 2017 tuition fees are being charged for some courses, but are very affordable; between 250 to 500 Euros per year. International students at the Doctoral level will still be on free tuition.

Admission Requirements and How to Apply

For undergraduate studies;

  • O’ level result/certificate,

  • Bachelor’s degree certificate and transcripts,
  • Two reference letters,
  • Admission essay/statement of purpose and 
  • An English language proficiency certificate for non-native English language speakers.

Note; other relevant documents as required by the institution should be made available (see your school of choice’s webpage). Some applications are made online while some schools may prefer you mail some documents with your application form duly completed, to them.

Cost of Living

The Cost of living in Finland is low and affordable when compared to other European countries.

As an international student, if you budget EUR 500-800 per month, it will surely be okay and enough for proper survival which would include house rent, food, books and transportation.
